Taylor Distillery acquisition, the Lexington Brewery, and the Springfield Redrying Facility.
        Corbin Utilities Commission – Principal in Charge for comprehensive Site Characterization at the former
WWTP to investigate mercury releases from historical operations.  Facility received NFA letter from KDWM
Superfund Branch.
        NACCO Material Handling Group – Project Manager of an Environmental Assessment, Site Investigation, and
Remedial Action during plant expansion.  Facility received managed closure through KDWM Superfund Branch.  
        BPB State Superfund Site, Wolf County, Kentucky – Project Manager overseeing the proper waste
classification and disposal of over 30,000 tons of non-hazardous waste and 1,200 tons of F-034 hazardous waste.
        Prism Holdings (Rainbow Oil) – Principal in Charge of Environmental Assessment, Site Investigation, and UST
Removal.  Site received NFA letter from KDWM UST Branch.
        University of Kentucky – Principal in Charge of Environmental Assessment and Site Characterization for
former location of an automobile dealership.

Mr. Porter has accrued over 20 years of
professional experience in the
environmental field with over 10 years as
an environmental consultant.  He currently
serves as the Chief Operating Officer for
Shield.  Over the course of his career, he
has assisted many industrial facilities and
municipalities with industrial compliance
issues including the proper
characterization and handling of solid,
special, and hazardous waste.

Mr. Porter has served in the capacity of
Project Manager and Principal in Charge
for numerous Environmental Assessments
including Phase I/II/III projects and
Hazardous Material Assessments.  
Additionally, he has experience preparing
site investigation work plans, remedial
action plans and implementation.
